Isaias (Baldo) Almanza, Jr., 84, went to be with our Lord October 26, 2013. Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, recently moving back to El Paso after retiring from Northern Illinois University. Survived by his wife Angela A. Almanza; sons: Adolfo Marquez (Dee), Isaias Almanza III (Connie), Lino Fernando Almanza, and Alman Arman (MaryAnn); brother, Gilberto Almanza; and sisters: Rosa Maria Almanza and Yolanda Flores; grandchildren: Adolfo, Angie, Isaias IV, Justina, Erica, Lino, Jr., Hannah, Jacob, and Nathan; 11 great-grand children; muchos nieces, nephews and friends. Isaias was preceded in death by his father and mother, Isaias and Justina Almanza; sisters: Socorro Gamboa and Hilda Flores; brothers: Joaquin and Robert Almanza; and granddaughter, Monica. THANK YOU to Isaiahs Adult Foster Home caregiver Marianna Moreno. A Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m., Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home-East. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m., Monday, November 4, 2013 at St. Raphael's Catholic Church. Burial is to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
