In the afternoon of March 31, 2025, Jack Edward Worthington Jr. peacefully passed in the company of his family from this life into eternity to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Born in Fort Meade, Maryland on July 05, 1952, Jack was loved deeply by family, friends, and coworkers. Ever the masterful storyteller, Jack brought endless amounts of joy, laughter, and a spirit of service wherever he went. As a son, friend, brother, father, grandfather, partner, and colleague, Jack always sought to see that others had the help they needed on their own journeys. A devout patriot, Jack served first in the Army’s 82nd Airborne and then went on to serve his country as a civilian engineer for the overwhelming majority of his life, ensuring that those who put their lives on the line to protect America operated in the safest conditions they could while enduring such great risk. Over the course of his distinguished career, Jack received numerous accolades for his dedication to engineering excellence and integrity, including the Department of the Army Civilian Service Achievement Medal. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack Edward Worthington Sr. and Adelaide J. Worthington; his brothers, Edward L. Worthington Jr, Richard C. Worthington, and George E.
