Jacqulyn A Lindsey

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Jacqulyn “Jacque” Lindsey, 76 was taken home December 16, 2015. Jacque was born in Austin, TX and was one of 4 sisters to grace the Maxey household. She met and fell in love with her life partner Bobby Lindsey while working as a waitress in Sterling City, TX in 1959. They soon married a year later in San Angelo, TX. Although Jacque was a homemaker most of her life, she bestowed on her friends and family her many talents. She was quite the artist and painted many beautiful pictures that we all display proudly in our homes. She was also a cake decorator extraordinaire and created many gorgeous cakes for all occasions, even her own children’s weddings. Jacque was preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Mabel Maxey, sister Doris Krause and husband Joe, sister in law Juanita Allen and husband Frank, brother in laws Lloyd Cowan and Joe Hatton. She leaves behind her husband of 54 years Bobby Lindsey, daughter Tricia Cook and husband Michael, son Charles Lindsey and wife Monica, 3 precious grandsons, Jared, Max and Eli, sister Dorothy and husband Cary Tomerlin, sister Faye Howeston, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who she loved with all her heart. Visitation: 5-8pm, Monday, December 21, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Service: 9:30am, Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Committal Service 11am at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
