James Richard Folk

Ret. 1st SGT. James R. Folk , 81, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2015.He is survived by his daughter, Vickie (Richard) Ellis; close friend, Maxine Crews; Grandchildren, Anna Belew, Thomas James (Lylan) Boudreau , Dustin Ray (Lindy) Smith. James served thirty years in the military until he retired. He was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge, Bronze Star Medal and a Purple Heart. He was a proud long time resident of El Paso. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00pm on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Burial will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
