Jim Myers

James “Jim” Kenneth Myers, age 95, entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 06, 2022 in El Paso, Texas. Jimmy was a devoted member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, and a dedicated Systems Analyst at El Paso’s Natural Gas Company for 28 years. He was a wonderful father, son, brother, grandfather, and will be greatly missed. Everyone that knew Jimmy loved his sense of humor and may have found an acorn in their pocket or purse after seeing him. James is preceded in death by his parents; Kenneth Red Myers and Concha Gonzalez, and his brother; Hector Myers. He is survived by his children; John Carter (Maryann), Jamie Myers-Estrada (Javier), and Mark Myers (Deborah), his siblings; Lucille Capshaw and Ralph Myers, as well as his grandchildren; Jacob Myers, Heather Myers, Joe Estrada, April Estrada, Geneta Carter, and Leah Carter. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; Alanna, Chloe, Jediah, Jonas, Gabby, Paul, Caleb, Demi, Kaylynn, Payton, Annastella, and many extended friends and family to cherish and honor his memory.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 13, 2022 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm with a Holy Rosary to be followed at 6:30pm at Sunset Funeral Home- West. A Funeral Mass service will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 11:45am at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 1551 Belvidere, El Paso, Texas. And, a Graveside Service held Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 1:30pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906.
