James C. Rigney

James C. Rigney of El Paso went to his heavenly home Monday, September 21, 2015. He was born on September 13, 1927 in El Paso to Dr. Paul Rigney and wife Vera Rigney. He married the love of his life Ruth Peterson. He was a retired Agricultural Engineer with J.I. Case Company in Racine, Wisconsin. He loved teaching from the Bible and taught children in Jet Cadets, also young people and later adults. He enjoyed working on his garden and being outdoors hiking. He is preceded in death by his parents Dr. Paul Rigney and Vera Rigney, and wife Ruth Rigney. James is survived by Honorary children Linda Venzor of El Paso, Mike and Ruth Valdivia of Borger, Texas and many others throughout the years. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 9:00am with a Funeral Service at 10:00am at Sunset Funeral Home-West, 480 N. Resler Dr., with Pastor Carl Chitwood officiating.
