James Anthony Taylor

July 7, 1960 — November 30, 2017

James Anthony Taylor, 57, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017. James was born in Great Lakes, Illinois, on July 7, 1960. As a military dependent, he traveled extensively but always returned to the desert of El Paso which he loved. He graduated from Andress High School in 1978. James found his work home in the Rudolph Family of dealerships as the facilities manager in 2001. He was much admired and loved. Although James never had children of his own, children were drawn to him like a magnet. He was adored by his nieces and nephews as well as all the children he came in contact with. James was very creative, artistic, and a jack of all trades. He loved working with stained glass and was a master at all aspects of construction. James loved to go off-roading and exploring in the desert. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Maralee Taylor, his mother Sandra Taylor, father Jimmie Taylor and step-mother Margaret Taylor; his siblings: Cami Brock, Jackie and Ken Quon, Sonja and Rob Teague, Jimmy and Tracy Taylor, and Michael Taylor; his nieces and nephews: Brandon Brock, Daniel and Manny Solis, Kaitlin and Joel Barrios, Colleen and Stephen Rader, Christopher Quon, Heather and Trevor Capps, Amanda and Jonathan Allen, Amos Johnson, Chester Taylor, Michael Taylor, Danielle Taylor, and Alisha Taylor; great nieces and nephews.
