Janet McDonald was taken home in the arms of the Lord, Jesus Christ, on the 21st day of May, 2013. She is now in eternal peace and happiness in Heaven with her daughter, Patricia. Janet was born in Tennessee in 1928; she traveled abroad alongside her husband, W.B. McDonald who served in the United States Army. Janet is survived by her husband, W.B. McDonald, five children, Milton, Michael, Timothy, Douglas, Denise, thirteen grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. She was a resident of Northeast El Paso since 1956, and always had an open home and open heart for all. Please join us to celebrate the life of Janet McDonald on Monday, the 27th day of May, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass , for a Visitation from 7-9 pm with a Prayer Service to begin at 7 pm, followed by a Committal Service Tuesday, the 28th day of May at 10:00 am at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
