He is survived by ten children; Rosie (Joe), Joey (Irma), Yoly (Hector, Nacho (Ana), Becky (Gabriel), Andy (Brenda), Johnny (Martha), Yvonne (Ray), Oscar (Lorraine), Adrian, 28 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren. Living sisters; Alicia Serafine, Terresa Penoyer, Marie Garcia and brother; Eddie Garcia. He proudly served in the United States Navy for four years and was awarded the United National Medal, National Defense Ribbon and China Service Award. Service to be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at La Purisima Catholic Church with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be said at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at La Purisima Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Socorro Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-Americas.
