Jeff was born in Lubbock, Texas in 1970. His family moved to El Paso in 1973 and have called it home ever since. Jeff enjoyed a childhood filled with fun – riding bikes, swimming at the neighborhood pool, adventuring with friends and traveling with his mom and dad, and sister Jennifer. He attended Putnam Elementary School, Moorehead Jr. High, and Coronado High School – graduating from there in 1989. Jeff attended Texas Tech University, where he met his future bride and earned his degree in Marketing and Management. He started his work life in the DFW area, eventually returning to El Paso to live and work. He married his wife Lisa in 1996 and they continued their journey together in the Sun City. Jeff completed post graduate classes in accounting, seeking to further his career as a CPA – passing the exam with flying colors. He worked at Yellow Freight before joining his father’s accounting firm, working and learning alongside his dad. Jeff continued honing his accounting skills, working for Thomason Hospital and advancing to the big leagues at KPMG. Eventually, he struck out on his own – growing a successful practice, easing many a grateful client through the tangled web also known as the tax world. Jeff and Lisa were blessed with the birth of their son Jack in 2005 blissfully adding parenthood to their lives. Jack was a great source of joy in Jeff’s life. Jeff enjoyed spending time with family, talking trivia, watching movies and listening to music. He was smart, funny and had a good soul. Jeff was a caring son, brother and uncle. He was a loving husband and a very proud father.
