Jenny Chavez

Jenny Chavez, 65, of Canutillo, Texas, passed away on September 6, 2026.

Jenny was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who lived life with passion, strength, and conviction. She loved to travel and enjoyed creating memories and experiencing new places. Her Catholic faith was an important part of her life and provided her with comfort, strength, and guidance.

Jenny is survived by her beloved children, MariaElisa Rangel, Joanna Valdez, and Cynthia Chavez; her cherished grandchildren, Gianna Horner and Georgia Horner; her siblings, Rosario Valdez and Rafael Rascón; and her ex-husband, Enrique Chavez.

Jenny was preceded in death by her mother, Maria B. Valdez; her father, Humberto Valdez; and her brother, Javier Valdez.

Jenny was never afraid to speak her mind or stand up for what she believed in. She proudly exercised her right to vote and was outspoken about her political beliefs, including her strong opposition to Donald Trump. Her independent spirit, strong voice, and determination to make her opinions heard were an important part of who she was.

Jenny will be remembered for her love of family, her adventurous spirit, her faith, and the memories she created with those closest to her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
