Jesus E. Rubio

Jesse was born on December 23, 1949 in El Paso, Texas, and passed on April 26, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, Arturo Ernesto Rubio; mother, Maria Luisa Rubio; brothers, Victor Rubio, Armando Manuel Rubio and his son Michael Rubio. He is survived by his wife, Elena Lujan; son, Jesus Ernesto Rubio Jr.; daughters, Julie Roldan (Joe), Jessica Rubio; and five grandkids; brother, Armando Rubio; sisters, Virginia Pichardo, Mary Lou Macias, Martha Rubio, Josie Rubio, Sylvia R. Grado, Connie Martinez, Veronica Rubio and Dolores Jacksics; and his special nephew Jesus Rubio, who he raised. Jesse served as a reservist with the United State Navy which he was extremely proud of. He retired from Cardinal Health (Converters) after 32 years. Visitation will be held from 9:30am to 12:00pm with a Holy Rosary at 11:00am on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home West. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Committal Service will be held at a later date at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
