D.C. Yount

D.C.Yount, 82 entered into eternal rest on April 13, 2022 in El Paso, Texas. He faithfully served the U.S. Airforce for 23 years. His contagious laugh and personality were like no other. His beautiful singing voice and generous nature touched the heart of anyone in his presence. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a longtime resident in Ruidoso, New Mexico for 28 years and moved to El Paso in 2019 to be closer to family.   D.C. is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Johanna Yount, brother; Dudley Yount and daughters; Sandra Schappell, Donna Neely, and DeAnna Archuleta.  D.C. has been blessed with seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He will be truly missed and his memory will live on in our hearts forever!  

Gathering of Remembrance will be at 11:00am with a Funeral Service at 12:00pm on Friday, May 06, 2022 at Cross Point Church, 11995 Montwood Drive.  Committal Service to follow at 2:00pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Honors.
