John "Rob" Henry Robinson

John “Rob” Henry Robinson, Sr., 64, peacefully went to his final resting place on Tuesday, December 26, 2006. He was born on January 9, 1942 in Martinsville, VA to Edna Mae Robinson and June Brown. He attended Albert Harris High School in Martinsville, VA and joined the United States Army immediately following his 18th birthday. After being stationed at various bases across the globe, he chose to make El Paso, TX his home. He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Reynolds of New Haven, CT. He leaves behind memories to: his daughter, Karen D. Robinson of Richmond, VA; sons: John Jr. and Keven Robinson both of Richmond, VA and Brian Hunter Robinson of El Paso, TX; sisters: Naomi Robinson of New Haven, CT, and Emily (Joe) Holland and Mary (Norman) Carter both of Martinsville, VA; brother, Robert (Althea) Brown of Martinsville, VA; grandchildren: Keenan and Kimani Robinson of Richmond, VA, Amanda, Brian Jr., and Isiah Hunter of El Paso, TX; beloved former wife, Ozzie Charlene Robinson; a loving and devoted friend, Annie Mae Hunter; and a host of friends and relatives. Pallbearers will be as follows: Vincent and Lionel Hunter, Keith Cooper, Clyde Albright, Marco Garcia, Rafael and Gabriel Hermosillo, Orlando Chiu, and Michael Wright. The Robinson Family would like to thank everyone who has assisted us in our time of bereavement. Please continue to pray for us for our loss and may God bless you all! Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Funeral Services will begin at 12:30 p.m., Friday, January 5, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Please join the Robinson Family for Repast immediatly following interment at the American Legion located at 4724 Vulcan. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast
