John Reynolds Hughes

JOHN REYNOLDS HUGHES entered into the hands of his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the age of 48. He was born on April 13, 1970. He was a member of a pioneer ranching family of Jeff Davis County, Texas. As a child, he spent many happy times on the X Ranch at Kent, Texas. John graduated from Fort Davis High School and attended South Plains College at Levelland, Texas. He worked on the Hughes Ranch in Fort Davis, Texas as a cowboy and forman until he moved to El Paso. He was an avid golfer and loved team roping. John is survived by the love of his life, his wife Heather; daughter Danielle Ratliff (Justice) of Milford, Indiana and grandchildren Gavriel, Zoey, Circenn, and Ravenna; parents, Dick and Susan Hughes El Paso, Texas; brother David Hughes (Paula) and daughters Angie and Sharon of Los Angeles California. He was predeceased by his grandparents HK and Sybil Hughes of El Paso, Texas and John and Leora Reynolds of Kent, Texas. A Celebration of John’s Life will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 1:00PM at University Presbyterian Church, 244 N. Resler Dr. El Paso Texas.
