John Scott, Jr., 81, lifelong resident of El Paso, TX, passed away quietly, after a long illness. He was born Sept. 12, 1925. He is a Bowie High School graduate, was in the U.S. Army, and had a fulfilling job in the U.S. Postal Service, that included several positions for branch 505, and was the President of N.A.R.F.E. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Matiana Scott; his sisters, Guadalupe Nicely, Dolores Scott, and Amada Scott; and his brother, Jose Scott. He is survived by his wife, Dolores T. Scott; daughter, Yolanda T. Scott; and beloved grandson, Jose Francisco Yzaguirre IV. Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm, with a vigil to begin at 6 pm, Sunday, January 21, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, January 22, 2007 at Guardian Angel Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors.
