John Zappone IV

John Zappone IV, 29, El Paso, Texas passed away February 9, 2026 at home. Born January 28, 2997 in Greensburg, PA. Jon is survived by parents John Zappone III (Noelle Zappone) and Jennifer Byers (Jason Byers), sisters Alesha Zappone (Tom Burk) and Jami Zappone, niece and nephew Amorit and Jaya Dreveniak whom he loved dearly, aunts Valerie Stone and son Vince, Gail Shauf and daughter Lysette, and several great aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Sargent John Zappone IV served in the United States Army where he spent time in Germany and Afghanistan. He considered Fort Bliss Charlie Company 2-501st part of his family.

John enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking anything nature or adventurous. John was the light of our lives and will be missed terribly. There will be no viewing. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Sunset Funeral Homes – East.
