Jose Luis Contreras Jr., 54, entered into eternal rest on July 27, 2026 in El Paso, TX. Jose Luis is preceded in death by his father, Jose Luis Contreras. He is survived by his mother, Luz Maria Sosa. Daughters, Myranda Contreras and Sarah Contreras. Brother, Joel Contreras and sister, Luz Maria Velchez. Jose Luis was very loved and will always be missed.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr., El Paso, TX 79907. A Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 7, 2026 at Our Lady of The Valley Church, 8600 Winchester Rd., El Paso, TX 79907. A Graveside will follow at 11:30 AM on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Evergreen East Cemetery, 12400 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79938.
