Jose Nerey Estrada

Jose N. Estrada, 78, a life long resident of El Paso, TX passed away peacefully on July 26, 2014. He was born on July 6, 1936. He worked for a number of years at Stone Corporation as a forman operator/ packer. Jose served as an usher for Corpus Christi Church where he was liked by everyone who he came in contact with. He loved to spend time helping out people and made friends wherever he went. He loved to dance and tell jokes. Jose always had a positive outlook on life and will be deeply missed by all. Our dad was a very inspiring man to whom we always looked up to. He is survived by his wife of more than 56 years, Emma C. Estrada, sons; Jose L. Estrada (Maria), Juan M. Estrada (Norma), 4 grandchildren; Edgar, Cynthia, Tony, and Andy Estrada and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of the Resurrection will be said at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
