Jose Luis Moncada

Jose Luis Moncada Sr., 68, passed away June 30, 2014 in Lewisville, Tx. Mr. Moncada graduated from Bowie High School and served in the U.S. Navy. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran. Mr. Moncada retired from the United States Postal Service and was a Little Leage coach. He is preceded in death by his parents: Pablo and Maria del Rosario R. Moncada; brothers: Victor , Roberto, Enrique, Luis, Francisco and Ramon Moncada; sisters: Elvira M. Munoz and Manuela M. Cano. He is survived by his children: Jose Luis Moncada, Jr., Daniel (Lara) Moncada, Javier (Jenny) Moncada, Joseph (Jeannie) Moncada, Jaime (Nancy) Jurado and Ruben (Debbie) Jurado; 12 grandchildren: Xavier M., Daniel A., Gabrielle L., Jacob, Aber, and Brianna Moncada, Demetrius Torres, Nicole, Faith, Ruben Jr., Emily and Isaiah Jurado. He is also survived by his sisters: Consuelo M. Bonilla, Guadalupe M. Duran, and Maria M. Estrada; and brother, Alejandro Estrada. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m., with a Vigil to begin at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina Dr. Graveside Service will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 11, 2014 at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home East.
