Jose Daniel "Danny" Pineda

Jose Daniel Pineda “Danny”, 63. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed away on February 21st. Danny was a lifelong resident of El Paso. He was a veteran with the U.S. Marine Corps and a hard worker for Mission Chevrolet for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Socorro and Adolfo Pineda, sisters, Leticia Pineda and Elvia Gerardo. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Cecilia Pineda, daughters, Leticia Pineda and Delora Pineda, son, Daniel Pineda, daughter-in-law, Alyza Pineda, beloved grandchildren “His babies” who he adored Angelica Pineda, Dominick Bautista, Danika Pineda, Daniel Pineda Jr., and Audrey Pineda, brothers, Adolfo Pineda, Victor Pineda, sisters, Isela Gutierrez and Kirsten Pineda, other family members include many nephews, nieces, uncles, and aunts. Danny loved his family and friends, he will always be remembered for his kindness and generosity. Visitation for Danny will be held Thursday, February 25, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:30 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home – Americas. Funeral mass will be Friday, February 26, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery. Pallbearers: Daniel Pineda, Dominick Bautista, Victor Pineda, George Olivas, Jose “Pepe” Rodriguez, Alex “Pelon” Ahedo, Juan Gutierrez and Adolf Pineda.
