Josefina H. Cordero

Josefina H. Cordero, age 78, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 02, 2025. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, friend, and will be dearly missed. Josefina is preceded in death by her parents: Jose Velarde Hidalgo and Andrea Bustamante, her husband: Jose “Pipo” Cordero and her son: Joe H. Cordero. She is survived by her son: Gabriel Cordero, her daughters: Jennifer Cordero and Samantha Cordero (Jesus), as well as her 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends to cherish and honor her memory.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary starting 6:00 PM on Tuesday, September 09, 2025, at Sunset Funeral Home- West, 480 N. Resler, El Paso, TX 79912. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 400 West Sunset Road. A Graveside Service will follow at 1:30 PM at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 4900 McNutt Rd., Santa Teresa, NM 88008.
