Josefina Perez passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother whose kindness, faith, and loving spirit touched all who knew her.
Born in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico, on September 2, 1939. Josefina was known for her gentle nature, beautiful soul, sense of humor, and love of music, dancing, arts and crafts, and making others laugh with her jokes. A devout Catholic, her faith and prayers were a source of strength for her family through life’s challenges.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Genoveva Garcia, her brother, Manuel Garcia and her son, Luis Perez, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Luis Perez, Sr.; her children, Rosalva (Art) Rascon, Barbara (Hugo) Urbina, and Martin (Susan) Perez; her sisters, Otilia, Juana, and Isela; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
