Joseph V. Garcia passed from this life on June 4, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Shirley R. Garcia† and loving father of Joan Oehmke (Rick), joyce Garcia (Arnie), and Brenda Humphrey (Jim). He had 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley R., his parents, 5 brothers, a sister, and a grandchild. Pallbearers are his 6 grandsons Joseph Sperry, Justin Oehmke, Joshua Oehmke, Christopher Humphrey, Shane Oehmke, and Cody Humphrey. Honorary pallbearer is Derrick Oehmke. Visitation will be from 5:00PM-8:00PM Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. A scripture Service will be held at 11:30AM Friday, June 10, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Committal Service will be at 1:00PM Friday, June 10, 2016 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
