Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, Friend, Josephine Ybarra Molina was born to Eternal Life on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at 9:15am. Mama went peacefully and was surrounded by her loving husband, Armando; son, Armando Jr,; daughters Christina, Beatrice & Rachel and granddaughter, Jasmin. In life, Mama was the epitome of grace and love. Anyone who knew her loved her. You could always find her in a crowd by her beautiful ear to ear smile and trademark twinkle-wink in her eye. People always remarked how it was so comforting to be near her or in her presence. Mama was loyal and hardworking, devoting many years of service to PMH, MH-MR, Dolphin Terrace Elementary and most recently until present at Eastwood Middle School. Mama loved being around people and working in the public realm. Mama was a college graduate, and proud of it! She received her Associate’s Degree from El Paso Community College in Liberal Arts, making the President’s and Dean’s List for Academic Excellence each semester. Mama always told us, her children, “No excuses. If I can do it, you can do it.” Always caring to enrich the spiritual lives of youth in our community, Mama volunteered as a Catechism and Confirmation teacher at San Antonio De Padua church, as well as a volunteer counselor in the El Paso County juvenile courts system. Helping others acknowledge and achieve their full potential was very important to her. Mama was a devoted & loving wife, married to her high school sweetheart, Jose Armando Molina for 44+ years. Together they were the perfect example of love, family and commitment. Their trademark upon greeting or departing each other? 3 successive kisses which signified: I – Love – You. Daddy never left Mama’s side, only until Our Heavenly Father called her home. Together they raised 4 children – 3 daughters, Christina, Beatrice & Rachel; and son, Jose Armando Jr. Mama’s pride and joy were her 7 grandchildren – grandsons, Joseph, Jacob and Jose Armando III, and granddaughters, Jasmin, Olivia and her twinkies, Sofia & Amelia. You could always see her face light up upon hearing them call out “Grandma”. Mama, although our hearts ache of losing you in the flesh, we know that you have been lovingly welcomed into the warm and waiting embrace of our Heavenly Father, who is surrounded by your beloved parents, Isaac & Josefina, brother Bobby, sister Irene and many loved and cherished family and friends who went before you. “Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again……” We love you Mama, we miss you, we promise to take care of Daddy for you and we will continue to be strong until we see you again. “I will see you again……this is not where it ends…..I will carry you with me.” Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00pm, with a Vigil/Rosary to begin at 7:00pm, Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00am, Monday, July 15, 2013 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
