Juan Fernando Castañeda,78, entered into eternal rest on March 20, 2024 in El Paso, TX. He is preceded in death by his son, Juan Castañeda; parents, Juan Castañeda and Maria Luisa Lopez. His brother, Felipe Castañeda. Juan is survived by her beloved wife, Maria Castañeda. Sons, John Castañeda and Julian Castañeda. Daughters, Veronica Castañeda and Mayra Liz Castañeda. Brothers, Eduardo Castañeda, Luis Castañeda, Nicolas Castañeda, Alberto Castañeda, Carlos Castañeda. Sisters, Yolanda Castañeda, Socorro Hernandez, Soledad Castañeda, Graciela Mesias, Maria de Jesus Castañeda, Dolores Castañeda. Also leaving behind 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren to honor and cherish her memory. 

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr., El Paso, TX 79907. A Mass will begin at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at St's Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 873 Old Hueco Tanks Rd, El Paso, TX 79927. A Graveside will follow at 11:45 AM at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, TX 79907. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home- Americas.
