Juan Lucero Alvarez, 87, passed away August 12, 2019 in El Paso, Texas. He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria del Socorro Alvarez. Juan is survived by his son, Abram Alvarez. A visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas with a vigil/rosary 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 16, 2019 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-Americas.
