Juan A Luevano, born to Antonio and Catalina Luevano on August 29, 1950, was husband to Martha Luevano, father to Judy, Vanessa, Joanna and Sasha, grandfather to Sebastian, idalee, Danika, Arianna, Nomar, and Katalina, brother to Armida, Christina, Elsa and Josephina, uncle to many and friend to all, has gone to meet our God on May 3, 2026.Juan, was a proud Navy Veteran who cherished his country and his CCR songs, reminding him of the good old days. Despite grumbling about every travel plan, he always accompanied his wife, taking her wherever she wanted. As a father, his daughters were his greatest pride and joy. You can see him in the way they speak loud, stand strong, and shake hands. He ensured that their husbands were part of the family with a blend of tough love, teaching them how to spoil his daughters the way he had always done. As a grandfather, Juan’s love for his grandchildren was clear in his playful interactions and way too many lollipops. He was a constant presence at their karate belt ceremonies, track races, dance competitions, swim practices, and baseball games, never missing a moment in the front row. He became a father figure to many, and to all who needed him most. He loved dancing and his booming voice filled the night air as he sang his heart out for all to hear. With an open ear and an open heart, Juan was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He left a smile on the faces of everyone who knew him. He was an entrepreneur and business owner who was passionate for his work and never wanted to retire. He did not sit around waiting for success to find him, but actively pursued and caught the essence of the American Dream. He was a man of integrity and a visionary leader. He was a devoted brother who always took care of his sisters. He never turned down a chance to share a meal with them, made a point to call and check in, and would show up unexpectedly just to say hello. He was present for every important moment in his nieces’ and nephews’ lives, never missing an opportunity to support them. As an uncle and role model, he was truly exceptional—always stepping up when they needed him most, often before they even had to ask.You can’t think of Juan and not remember a happy moment with him and the way he made you feel. Juan A Luevano, the man, the myth, the legend. He will be missed by all and forever loved.
