Juan Gilberto Rodriguez

Juan G. Rodriguez, 48 years old, beloved son, brother, nephew, uncle, and friend went home to our Heavenly Father on 11-08-15. He died at home surrounded by his family after a courageous fight with cancer. Throughout his illness he always held strong to his Christian faith. He is predeceased by his mother Maria C. Rodriguez and his brothers Jose and Jorge Rodriguez. He survived by father Ignacio Rodriguez Sr.; brother, Ignacio Rodriguez Jr.; sisters: Alma, Rosalia, and Susana Rodriguez, Sandra Morgan, and Gabriela Mendoza. He will be greatly missed by his aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, brothers in law, as well as his many friends, especially Leo Briones, who was more of a brother than friend. Juan was a proud 1987 Austin High School graduate. He served in the US Army from 1987 to 1991 and was at Desert Storm. The family would like to thank Sylvia Martinez RN and her staff at Altomar Home Health Care and Ellen Chan RN and Gladys Pena from Gentiva Hospice for their wonderful and compassionate care. Memorial Service will begin at 12:30pm on Monday, November 16, 2015 at First Assembly of God. Committal Service will follow at 1:30pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors.
