Juan Vega

Juan Vega, 82, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. Juan was born in
Houston, Texas on June 28, 1943. He married his true love, Maria Rebeca Montoya on
November 04, 1966. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps (USMC) with
two tours of duty in Vietnam.
Juan genuinely had a heart of gold and his positive energy was a blessing to his family.
He made all of his loved ones feel special in so many ways. We will miss his beautiful
smile.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rebeca, his beloved children; Irene Vega Mason
(Karl), Juan Vega, Jr, Melissa Samano (Alberto), 13 grandchildren, 3 great
grandchildren, and 3 siblings.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM on Monday, January 12,
2026 at Sunset Funeral Homes - Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Drive. The Funeral
Mass will begin at 12:30 PM on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic
Church, 10000 Pheasant Rd Street. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM at Fort Bliss National
Cemetery with Honors, 5200 Fred Wilson Avenue.
