Juanita Geneva Moore

Juanita G. Moore, 95 was called home to be with the Lord December 17, 2015. She was a resident of El Paso since 1957. During her life, she worked in retail, was a substitute teacher in YISD, a receptionist, and Red Cross volunteer at WBAMC. She had a strong faith and was an active member of Bethel Family Ministries Church. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband and son. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Celeste Smelser and son-in-law Don, daughter-in-law Marilyn, brother Lew and his wife, as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends. She was much loved by all who knew her. Special gratitude goes to the staff of the 800 Wing at Ambrosio Guillen Texas State Veterans’ Home for the wonderful care Juanita received as a resident. Visitation from 5:00-7:30 PM on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Service will begin at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Committal Service will follow at 10:30 AM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
