Lucille Price Baker of Midland, Texas passed away on Friday, August 12, 2016 at her home. She was 92. She was born at home in Kings Valley, Oregon to Arthur and Lorena Price on September 29, 1923. She was raised and attended school in King Valley.
She married Kenneth Baker in Aberdeen, Washington on August 27, 1949. Her husband’s military career caused them to move often; Kings Valley was always her home, but her final days were spent in El Paso, Texas and Midland, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her husband, CWO 3 Kenneth Baker of Minnesota; three sisters, Nina Carleson of California, Virgie Nyman of Aberdeen, Washington, and Ruth Moore of Corvallis, Oregon.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Segal-Duteau and Jacqueline McMillan, both currently residents of Midland, Texas; three grandchildren, Dean Segal, Kenneth Segal, both of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Jennifer Drummond of Midland, Texas; five great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Sunset Funeral Home at 4631 Hondo Pass, El Paso, Texas on Sunday August 21, 2016 from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Graveside services and interment will be held at Fort Bliss National Cemetery on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 1:00pm.
