Julian Albert Borschow was born on March 9, 1923 and passed away peacefully on April 11, 2013. He attended Dudley Elementary School, El Paso High School and graduated from Texas College of Mines. He served his country honorably in World War II with the United States Navy. He is preceded in death by his parents Sam and Selma Borschow, his brother Paul Borschow, his daughter Sue Ann Weinstein, and his wife Barbara Borschow. He is survived by his son Allen and his wife Patricia, his grandsons, Phillip and Geoffrey Borschow and Bradley and Max Weinstein, and sister–in-law Dorothy Borschow. He worked his entire life in private accounting starting at Aaronson Brothers and retiring from the Union Fashion Clothing Co. After his retirement he helped many organizations on a volunteer basis. He had a second career as the Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of El Paso retiring at age 88. He was an avid sportsman and listened to the Miners faithfully on the radio after he was unable to attend in person. He was a very accomplished golfer and made 2 holes in one and shot his age on six occasions. He spent his last years at Regency Assisted Living where he was very happy. Deepest appreciation to Dr. Dwayne Aboud and Dr. Laiq Raja, the entire wonderful staff at Regency, and Hospice of El Paso who all helped giving quality and caring help for many years and the last few days.
