Borrero, SFC Julio Cesar-US Army (Retired) 88, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 17, 2016. Julio was born in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico. He proudly served in the United States Army, serving two tours in Vietnam and retired in El Paso, Texas after 20 plus years of service. He went to work for the Anthony Independent School District in Anthony, Texas, and also retired after 20 plus years. He enjoyed playing Pinochle and Dominoes, and was a proud member of the VFW. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Blanca Estela, children, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Join us in celebrating his life at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, Visitation will be 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00pm on Wednesday, January 20, 2016. Funeral Mass will be said at 9:00am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Committal Service at 10:30am on Thursday, January 21, 2016 Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
