Julio Alberto Fierro Gutierrez

Julio Alberto Fierro Gutierrez, age 36, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in El Paso, Texas, surrounded by the family who loved him. Born on December 4, 1989, Julio spent his life fighting battles most people never see. Diagnosed with cancer as a child, he faced every treatment, every setback, and every recurrence with a strength that inspired everyone around him. He turned that experience into a calling, dedicating his career to nursing and to caring for others walking their own hardest roads. He served with distinction in organ transplant care, where his skill, warmth, and compassion touched the lives of patients and families during the most vulnerable moments of their lives.

Julio was a devoted son, a beloved brother, a loving uncle, a loyal friend, and a loving partner. His laugh filled every room he entered. His humor was quick, his loyalty absolute, and his heart bigger than his own struggles ever were. He loved deeply and was loved fiercely in return.

Julio is survived by his beloved parents, Rene Fierro Lozano and Sylvia Gutierrez de Fierro; his devoted fiancée, Diana Baca; his brothers, Alejandro, Ricardo, and Rene Fierro; and his cherished nieces and nephews. He is also survived by extended family, dear friends, and countless colleagues and patients whose lives he touched. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion, resilience, and kindness that will live on in everyone who loved him.
