Kathleen Mary Schulte -- 06/21/1928 - 06/28/2026
A life well lived. A daughter, sister, aunt, mother, grand and great grandmother -- well loved by all her family and friends. Kathleen Schulte now soars in heaven with her Lord and the angels, along with her parents Mary and Joseph Ralphs and her youngest son Michael. She is missed by her husband of 75 years, Daniel; sister, Noreen; her three children, Daneen, Dan, and David; her grandchildren Paul (her compassionate caregiver), Leah, Delanie, and Davis; and her great grandchildren Smith and Taft. Kathleen was born in Crewe England and then raised on the Isle of Sheppey where her impressionable young years were spent on the front row of World War II. She joined the British Women's Auxiliary Army Corps at the end of WWII; and, while stationed in Berlin, she met and married her life-long partner Daniel who was also stationed in Berlin with the U.S. Army. She came to the United States and became a U.S. citizen in 1957. As Dan’s partner in the U.S. Army for 26 years she traveled the United States and back to Germany while raising three brats. Upon retirement Kathleen and Dan continued to be very active through community involvement in Scouting, the Fort Bliss Foreign Military Host Program, International Rotary, and military support organizations that included the Military Officers Association. She became a master weaver and produced beautiful works of art as clothing, wall hangings and knick-knacks. For many years they also volunteered at the Fort Bliss Thrift Shop and Kathleen was an active member of the Daughters of The British Empire. Charitable interests and making new friends were two of their passions. If you had the pleasure of knowing her, cherish the memories.
