Kathleen Wheeler

Kathleen Zopp Wheeler (Kat), 78 , of El Paso, Texas died Monday, April 28, 2014. Born March 30, 1936 in Quinwood, West Virginia to Verna and Telford Zopp. She was married almost 60 years to the love of her life, “Jimmy” Wheeler, Sr. She was a wonderful mother to her two precious children, James, Jr. and Denise, and the best “Gan” ever to her two grandsons Dustin and Dylan. She is survived by her husband, James R. Wheeler, Sr.; son James R. Jr.; daughter Denise; grandsons Dustin and Dylan, sisters Wanda Lee (Wyldon), Barbara; and brother Robby (Jeanie). She was a beloved mother-in-love to Doug and Diane. Preceded in death by sisters Uldene and Louise. Visitation will be from 9:30am to 11:30am with a Funeral Service at 11:30am on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
