Kevin James Pierce

Kevin James Pierce, 67, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026.

He was born in Wyandotte, MI. on September 10, 1958. He graduated from Andress High School and left to serve his country proudly in the United States Army for 16 years.

He would later marry his wife of 40 years, Irene. He worked at Harding Orr & McDaniel for several years before transferring to Waxahachie, TX. to Boze Mitchell Funeral home.

Kevin is preceded in death by his parents James and Judith Pierce. He leaves behind his wife Irene, daughters; Georgina (Ruben) and Nicole (Shay). Grandson, Thomas and granddaughter, Savanah. Brothers; Michael, Danny and Terry Lee. Sisters; Carrie and Faith.

Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 8:00pm with a Vigil/Rosary at 6:00pm on Monday March 30, 2026 at Sunset Funeral Home. 750 N. Carolina. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 AM, Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Most Holy Trinity, 10000 Pheasant Rd. Interment will follow at 11:00 AM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with military honors, 5200 Fred Wilson.
