Krishnadatta Purohit

KRISHNADATTA PUROHIT passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at the age of 81. He came to the United States as a Fullbright Scholar to further his studies, subsequently earning a Ph.D in Microbiology. He was an active member and volunteer at the Religious Discussion Group at the Southwest Hindu Temple. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Sarla Purohit, his children Amitabh Kumar Purohit, Anita Purohit and her husband Diego Valenzuela, Sumitabha Kumar and his wife Amber, his brother Narayan Purohit, grandchildren: Geronimo Valenzuela, Maya Valenzuela, Daelen Purohit and Kelsen Purohit.
