Larry Wayne Loso

Larry Wayne Loso, 64 years old, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015. Larry was born in Sweetwater, Texas, on 18 February 1951. He graduated from Glasscock County High School, Garden City, Texas and left to serve his country proudly in the United States Army in the draft. Larry would later marry in 1973, to Sofia. Larry retired first from the U.S. Army after 23 years. Then, he retired from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, after 21 years. He loved learning new topics in Science and Technology, nature TV shows, joking and comedy, and was a member of American Legion and VFW. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne Denson, Betty Juanell Loso, Kenneth Loso and his brother Benjie Denson. Larry leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Sofia Loso, his daughter Laurie Loso; sisters, Linda Meyer and Carla Verdine, and brother, Harley Loso. Visitation will be held for Larry on Tuesday, 17 November, 2015 from 5:00-9:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast – 4631 Hondo Pass. Border Patrol Honors will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday 18 November 2015 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Ne Burial will follow Wednesday, 18 November, 2015 at 11:00 am at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
