Lilia Ramirez Caraveo, 95, went to be with our Lord and Savior on December 5, 2024. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Epigmenio Caraveo; her son, Leo Caraveo (Liz); her parents, Pedro and Blasa Ramirez; and her cherished siblings, Ricardo Ramirez, Cleotilde Barrandey, Ruben Ramirez, Porfirio Ramirez, and Linda Bustillos.
Lilia is survived by her loving children, Isabel "Liz" Garcia (Lawrence), Cynthia Madrid (Jimmy), and Socorro Chambers; her grandchildren, Vanessa Vasquez (Bobby), Lisa Martin (Marc), Darlina Bolding (Jason), Stephanie Tinsley (Elliot), Mathew Madrid, Ruben Chambers (Haydee), Ciana Chambers, Erika Madrid, Steven Madrid, and Sara Caraveo; as well as 8 beloved great-grandchildren. She is survived by her brothers, Hector and Samuel Ramirez.
A visitation will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home-East. The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 11:45 AM at St. Stephen Deacon & Martyr Catholic Church, located at 1700 George Dieter. Interment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery at 1:30 PM.
