EL PASO, TEXAS - Lou Donna Landsheft passed away peacefully with family on June 8, 2025, in El Paso, Texas, at the age of 91. Born to Alma Vesta Ralls Hendrick and Charles Barnett "CB" Hendrick, she was raised in Ralls, Texas, alongside her sister, Zama Sue Hendrick Gobin(deceased). She graduated as Valedictorian of Ralls High School in 1951 and received a Bachelor of Science in Library Arts from the University of Arizona in 1955, where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority.

 Donna was married to Richard "Dick" H. Landsheft (deceased) for over 40 years and is now reunited with Dick in heaven. Donna lived most of her life in El Paso, Texas, and enjoyed a career as a Librarian. Ultimately, Donna worked with Dick at Holiday Moving and Storage and together, they created the Bootrader western wear company. Donna and Dick savored life's joys to the fullest. They enjoyed hosting parties, cruising with their in-laws, Bill and Sally Sells, fishing and playing golf at Lake Fork, TX, and annually visiting Del Mar, CA. Donna and her first husband of 18 years, Donald L. Niewold, DDS had three children, Christina Niewold Mitchell (James-deceased), Charles Ralls Niewold (Laura), and Lisa Niewold Lane (Bobby), and 4 grandchildren, Christina Kay Mitchell, Catherine Mitchell Graves(Jay) and Ann Ralls Brown (Jerrod), Trenton Maxwell Rich and 5 great grandchildren, Finley and Emma Graves, Laura, Timms and Lucille Brown. Donna is also survived by her extended family, Brian William Landsheft (Laureen) and their son, William Landsheft; Richard "Dos" H. Landsheft, Jr. (Laurie) and Lynn Landsheft Desper and her daughter, Aubrey Wiley (Tristin), grandchildren, Owen Wiley and Jackson McGee.

 Donna is also survived by her beloved sister in law from Philadelphia, Sally L. Sells (Bill-deceased). Donna made friends, family, and new acquaintances feel special. She maintained lifelong friends and loved being with her grandchildren. She was known as a classy lady with style in her dress and decor for her homes. The family is grateful to Susana, Licha, Theo, Max, Ladybug, and all of the staff at The Legacy Assisted Living in El Paso, Texas. 

Services are entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-West, 480 North Resler Drive, El Paso, Texas. A celebration of life for Donna will be held at the El Paso Country Club followed with a graveside service honoring Donna and Dick Landsheft at the Memory Gardens of the Valley in Santa Teresa, New Mexico. The date and time for the celebration and service are to be determined.
