Lucia M. Briones

Lucia Mora Briones, 92, died February 24, 2008 and was preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Briones, Jr. She was a loving mother and homemaker who had a deep faith in Jesus Christ. Lucia resided in El Paso for over 75 years. Survived by brother, Miguel Mora and sister, Bertha Aguilar, 5 Children, Humberto Briones, Teresa Toner, Dr. David F. Briones, Martha Gray and Lucy Barry, 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm, Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home-West, 480 N. Resler, with a Vigil at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a pro-life charity or Los Ojos De Dios.com (orphanage) and American Heart Associations. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes West.
