Luis H. Fernandez

Luis H. Fernandez, 74, entered into eternal rest when God Our Father called him home on November 2, 2025 in El Paso, TX. Luis is preceded in death by his parents, Miguel Fernandez and Santos Herrera; brothers, Jesus, Miguel, and Fernando and grandson, Benny. Luis is survived by his family he truly loved: spouse, Mary Lou Fernandez, children, Patricia F Aguirre, Luis Fernandez Jr. (Maria), and Carlos Fernandez; brothers, Pedro and Manuel; sisters, Lorenza, Any and Maria Elena; grandchildren, Jason (Anaisa), Andrew, Carlos and Camilla and his only great-grandchild, Leo, who will all honor and cherish his memory always. Many other family members, brothers-in-law, sisters-in law, nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors and acquaintances from El Paso, Amarillo, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Nevada and California and his small hometown of Praxedis (San Nacho), in the State of Chihuahua, Mexico, have many fond memories of him. Luis was very much loved and will always be missed and remembered as a very hard working man, who still worked tending to animals and land on the farm and family ranches.

A Mass will be held at 9 AM on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Our Lady of The Valley Church, 8600 Winchester Rd, El Paso, TX 79907. An Inurment will follow at 10:30 AM at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, TX 79907.
