Luis Serrano Holguin

Born August 25, 1927 in Durango, Mexico to Appolonio and Bernabe B. Holguin. He worked for 27 years at Cashway Lumber Company and he retired from Cashway. Luis is preceded in death by his sons Francisco (Kiko) and Rafael (Buffy) and his grand daughter Angela (Pumpkin). He is survived by Spouse Antonia C. Holguin and seven children; Servando (Tina), Guadalupe- Nerve (Nellie), Angel (Rita), Maria L. Lucas (Joel), Mary Ann, Ignacio and Benito, one daughter in Mexico City, Socorro Borrego and 18 Grandchildren, 35 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. He was a wonderful father who taught us to be hard workers and always have a good sense of humor. He will forever be in our hearts and he will be gretly missed. Visitation will be 4:00-9:00 pm with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00 pm Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home-East. Funeral Mass: 10:00 am Friday, May 22, 2015 at San Jose Mission, 8100 San Jose Rd. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
