Luis Rodriguez Jr.

Luis Rodriguez Jr., born on April 7, 1970, entered eternal rest on May 17, 2026, at the age of 56. A proud veteran of the United States Army and retired Border Patrol Agent, Luis dedicated his life to serving his country, his community, and most importantly, his family.

Luis was known for his generous spirit, kind heart, and unwavering love for those around him. He never hesitated to help others and leaves behind a legacy of compassion, strength, and loyalty. He was a devoted Dodgers fan and passionate sports lover who enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams and sharing those moments with family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Claudia de la Cruz; his children, Gael, Sheccid, Emiliano, stepdaughter Gabriela; his mother, Josefina Rodriguez; his brother Jesus Rodriguez (Claudia Rodriguez) sisters, Ana Harris and Marcela Rodriguez; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and lifelong friends.

Luis was preceded in death by his father, Luis Rodriguez Sr.

Though he is no longer with us, Luis’ love, laughter, and memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at Sunset Funeral Home- Northeast, with a Rosary at 6:00 pm and a Celebration of Life at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:30 pm on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 10000 Pheasant Rd, El Paso, TX 79924. A Graveside Service will follow at 2:00 pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906. Services a re entrusted to Sunset funeral Home- Northeast.
