Lupe Martinez

Guadalupe (Lupe to her friends and family) Martinez passed peacefully into the hands of the Lord on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. She was 89 and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Her loving husband of 64 years, Roberto, preceded her in heaven. Lupe was born here in El Paso to an El Paso grocer, Enrique and Paz Ramos, and worked her adult life keeping a warm and loving home for the family and numerous pets, especially her dog Henry, that she was blessed with. She is survived by her son Robert A. Martinez (Linda), Sylvia Y. Mueller, Cynthia A. Martinez, and Melissa M. Andrade (Bryan), her loving brother, Ricardo Ramos (Delores); her loving grandchildren Nicholas A. Martinez, Mathew K. Martinez, Allison Mueller Rodgers, Kyle Mueller, Olivia Mueller, Robert James Martinez; beloved great-grandchildren, Hudson, Adler, Graham, Beckett, Camden, Dolan, and Emzy Rodgers.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 9:45 AM to 10:30 AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 1551 Belvidere. The Holy Rosary will follow visitation at 10:30 AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will follow the Holy Rosary on Friday, August 21, 2026 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
