Luz Maria Lomeli passed away peacefully in her home on February 27, 2025 after a difficult battle with cancer. Her last moments were spent surrounded by love and family. She maintained her strong faith in God throughout her life and to the very end, she knew that she would be going home to heaven. She was full of kindness, love, happiness, laughter, and life. Nothing could bring her down, always sporting the biggest smile in the room. She was carefree and loving, something that everyone she interacted with remembers her by.
Lucy was born April 3, 1968 in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, to Benjamin and Margarita Morales who have both preceded her in death. Lucy was a teacher for 31 years and touched many lives. She is very loved by all her students and fellow teachers. Throughout the years, she could never leave a building without seeing someone she knew. Running into previous students would always bring a smile to her face and loved hearing of their endeavors. Everyone remembers her by her beautiful smile and laugh that can fill a whole room.
