Revelations 21: 4
“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes and death shall be no more. Mourning nor crying nor pain anymore for the former things have passed away”
Lydia Davis, beloved mother of four children, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2025 at the age of 82. She was born May 6, 1942 in Salinas, CA. She lived a life filled with love and compassion. She married William C. Davis January 14, 1978. They soon received orders to PCS to Germany and in 1982 they came back to the US where she became a resident of El Paso, TX.
Lydia worked at Rockwell/Boeing from 1983-1986. She started on the factory line and after a while she moved up to 3rd shift lead. In 1986, she decided to become a Domestic Engineer (Family Manager).
Lydia dedicated her life to her family, always putting their needs above her own on many occasions. She was always known for her kind soul as well as her beautiful smile and her infectious laughter. Her presence alone was able to enlighten any room she entered. Most of all, the love she gave and showed everyone she encountered left one of the most impressionable impacts in their lives. She loved to go dancing, bowling, play bingo, and playing cards. If you knew grandma, you knew that she loved playing pool most of all. Boy Oh Boy she was a shark on the pool table.
Lydia is survived by her 3 children, Daughter Anna Cochran and husband Ernest Cochran, Son Thomas P. Washington Sr. and Son Michael L. Davis. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 4 great, great grandchildren.
She is proceeded in homegoing by her husband William C. Davis as well as her father and mother Pablo and Mary Asuncion and her daughter Lorraine Delgado. Grandma Lydia Davis will be missed dearly and will forever remain in the hearts and smiles of those who knew her best.
