Mae Alma Nelson

Mae Alma Nelson, age 76, passed from time into eternity on Thursday, December 09, 2021, in El Paso, Texas. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend; and will be greatly missed. Mae is preceded in death by her parents; Arvid Carlson and Clara Schwartz Carlson. She is survived by her loving husband; Jon Owen Nelson; her children; Emmy Nelson, Jon Owen Nelson Jr. (Alondra), Andrew Nelson (Tanya), Rebecca Miller (Henry), Jeremy Nelson (Danelle); her siblings; Herbert Carlson and Edith Jeske; and her grandchildren; Chloe Nelson, Mikayla Hobbs, Madison Hobbs, Avery Nelson, Benjamin Nelson, Samuel Nelson, Zachary Nelson, Caleb Miller, Keturah Miller, Keziah Miller, Montgomery Nelson and Malcolm Nelson. She is also survived by much extended family and many friends she cherished. A Visitation will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home West, with a Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 pm. A Graveside service will be at a later date; Thursday, December 23, 2021, at 1:00 pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
